Hi, I’m Sara!
In 2015, I started to realize I had built the wrong business. For 12 years, I had been a personal trainer, running a very successful fitness business. While I was incredibly proud of the achievements of my clients, I started to realize that I was a leader in an industry that had a singular mission:
Help women shrink their bodies – at any cost.
After the birth of my son and seeing my own body shift in incredibly powerful ways, I couldn’t help but ask myself, “How would the world shift if, instead of telling women they should make their bodies smaller, we invited them to take up more space – with their bodies, their stories, their strengths and their voices?”
In 2016, I launched The Shameless Mom Academy podcast, a show dedicated to helping moms rebuild their identity after motherhood – in order to stop shrinking and start shining. The Shameless Mom Academy is a top rated show with over 4 million downloads and 600+ episodes. The Shameless Mom Academy has become a movement, reaching over 100,000 moms across 140 countries each month.
Between the podcast, speaking, training, and private coaching I support thousands of women each week by teaching them how to lean into their innate gifts, leverage their power in deeply impactful ways, and listen inward to recognize that their voice has value.
The most important lesson I’ve learned in my almost 20 year career of coaching women is this: when more women have more power, the entire world benefits. We need more women on stages, in executive positions, writing books, owning the title of CEO, taking political office, sharing their gifts and their voices with the world.
Whether I’m keynoting women’s leadership events, speaking at mom or entrepreneurial conferences, or delivering corporate trainings, my purpose is to guide women toward their gifts and their voices in order to have deep impact in the world.
When I’m not working with my clients, I’m using my voice in my local community in support of people who are typically underrepresented. My time beyond that is largely dedicated to my favorite role, Mom. Whether I’m chasing him down a mountain, cheering for him on the basketball court, or pretending to understand Minecraft, raising my 9 year old son will always and forever be the very best thing that ever happened to me.

In recent years, as companies were forced to evolve rapidly, established as well as rising leaders often lacked the necessary tools and resources to lead effectively.
Simultaneously, executive and senior leaders struggled to respond quickly to societal, employee, and client demands to build more safe, inclusive, and accessible workplaces where all people could be seen and valued.
When companies fail to pair organizational change with people development, employees at all levels not only feel unprepared, but they underperform. This leads to an erosion of trust where employees carry fear and anxiety with them into the workplace and into the work they produce.

According to a recent Crucial Learning study of 1,100 people, 43% of respondents estimated they waste two weeks or more ruminating about an unresolved problem at work.
